I remember when I was investigating Chen Taiji forms and combat usage (or playing the dilettante, some might allege), I read how some of the moves resemble “Cutting Palm” technique from other styles. At the time I thought this was interesting but not worth looking further into what those others might have to say about this. Wanted to at least learn rudiments of the move itself before I wander too far afield.
